IN BETWEEN
" ... A Super-Groovy Compilation of Original Tunes featuring a Fusion of San Francisco and Minneapolis Sounds ..."
"IN BETWEEN" is power package of talent- featuring vocal and instrumental hit-makers, who united in the studio to bring to life 24 new tunes that bridge the language of funk from San Francisco to Minneapolis and back again. Some of the best talents in the recording business, "in between" gigs, were available at the right time and at the right place, to provide lead vocals, backgrounds, and instrumentation to a couple of album's worth of new material - including everything from reggae rap to soulful ballads.
What a treat to work with the heirs to the Sylvester funk of San Francisco, as well as the provocative sound of Minneapolis funk from those who exercised and were ordained by a powerful stimulant - Prince.
